Dis-associate to Associate

November 3, 2008

Charlie “Tremendous” Jones says that five years from now, you will ahead, behind or stagnant in life depending on two things – kind of books you read and the people you associate with.

If you are not in life where you want to be, change your association. Otherwise, five years from today, everything will be the same in your life except, you will be five years older. Also, don’t associate with people who bring you down. Because, if you associate with such people on a regular basis, you will be in a worse situation than you currently are. So, how do you pick you association?

Look at people who are already in life where you want to be. Are they willing to help you get where they are? If your answer is yes, then these are the people you should be associating with. It will help you improve your mindset. They will challenge you to do better in life. They will guide you into the right path so you can also be as successful as they are.

You should also remember to not associate with the people who are going nowhere in life. Remember to dis-associate, so you can associate with people who have your interest at heart.

Figure out what you want in life. Find people who already the things you want in life. Lastly, figure out a way to associate with them.

Hope this helped. Looking forward to reading your comments.

What is your brain worth?

October 27, 2008

Do you know how much is your brain worth? Or, do you need a check-up from your neck-up? :-) It sounds so funny – check-up from your neck-up. I personally believe, that every human brain is worth about $3 Billion, at the very least. I mean, look at how fast your brain can operate. It does about 20,000 Trillion calculations per seconds. Don’t believe it? You ever see something or read something and all of a sudden your brain travels back in time and remembers a person or an event related to your reading or seeing? That’s right. It takes lots of calculations to do something like that for a computer. Your brain does that in an instant. Your brain is worth #3 Billion if you need it and nourish it properly. I don’t mean, you would get $3 Billion by selling your brain, but your brain has the ability to make you that much money in your lifetime.

This actually reminded me of a joke … A person was seriously ill into the hospital. His family was at the hospital to give him Moral support. At one point, the doctor came out and told the family, that it was imperative that the patients brain be changed, otherwise he could die. Doctor said, “It doesn’t matter whether we install a female brain or a male brain. It is all the same. There’s just a cost difference.” A family member asked, “How much is the cost difference?”. Doctor said, “A female brain costs $500 where as the male brain costs $5,000.” Obviously the males in the room seemed to be very proud. They tried not to smile or smirk. However, one male in the room couldn’t resist and asked the doctor about the difference. Doctor explained, “A female brain costs less because it is always very used. A male brain costs so much is because it is hardly ever used.”

Hope you had a good laugh, regardless of whether you are a male or female. Anyways, most people spend lots of money every day to feed their body neck-down. But, very few people invest their time and money in feeding their body neck-up. If you look at how money is made, people who use neck-down part of their body at their jobs make very less money compared to people who mostly use their brain to make money. Ever think about it?

Question is how do you feed your brain every day? You read books … books that inspire you, fill your brain with positive thoughts, books that encourage and provide ways for you to become better. You associate with people who are in life where you want to be. You dis-associate with people who are in life where you don’t want to be.

Take action now. You can do it. You can change your life and make it better. It will help you and your family. It worked for me, and it will for you also. Hope I helped.
